Louis Stanley was one of the best know and most controversial figures on the race tracks of the world. Every year he produced penetrating, analytical review of the World Championship, volumes described by Graham Hill as "a view through a door that is never opened to an enthusiastic public and a view that is only fractionally witnessed by the actors in the Grand Prix scene."
